Våpenbrevet in the mail soon!

The Journal of the Norwegian Heraldry Society– ”Våpenbrevet”  is now entering it´s 36th year of publication, and the next edition (number 82) will soon be ready for distribution. ”Våpenbrevet” has a central place in the Society, and members are proud of the quality and scope of it´s articles. Printed in colour since 2008, the journal har also become more visually attractive, and heraldry´s dramatic tinctures now grace it´s pages.

Throughout the years many quality articles have appeared in the journal, and it has become an important resource for the NHF and for heraldists in Norway.  The website www.heraldikk.no  and ”Våpenbrevets” editorial teams are working to make these more easily available to all members, and  aim in the future to publish articles from the previous ”Våpenbrevet” in a special registered-member´s section shortly after each new printed edition appears.

Material from older back-numbers of the journal will, with the authors´ permission, also be made available wherever possible.
